November 10th, 2017 was my first day at Uassist me, I had been waiting for the opportunity to begin a new chapter and this was it. As I walked through the door I began feeling all kinds of things, I was nervous and excited at the same time, when Caro, my new coach came in the conference room where I was waiting her smile made me feel super comfortable and let me to think everything was going to be just fine, later I met my team and everyone was very happy, they’re all great people to be around with.
A few minutes went by and Sergio came to my desk and took me to the conference room for an induction, he explained how UAM works and all of that good stuff. Once I came back to my desk it was time to have a call with Dan, my client, honestly he is the sweetest, he explained what my role would be and the different tasks I was to perform during my shift, I have to admit that by the time I was talking to him I felt super happy that he gets to be the person I work with.
After the call with Dan, I knew what I had to do and began taking calls, and scheduling appointments and getting used to being a virtual receptionist. I truly feel very lucky to be able to work so close with someone, never in my life would I have imagined that I would have this opportunity and I feel very blessed to be a part of the UAM family.
Since a few days have passed, I can say that I am already used to coming to every day seeing everyone so happy and positive all the time is great and having that sense of community is something that you don’t see all the time, so thank you UAM for letting me be part of this experience.
